About New Paradigm

New Paradigm is a think tank headed by IT strategist, speaker, and best-selling author Don Tapscott. Since 1993 New Paradigm has provided clients with insightful, thought-provoking analysis of emerging technology trends and their business impact. We serve as a "strategic early warning system" for our clients, helping them discern real imperatives from all the hype and noise.

Problem
The short term goals are to meld both the Don Tapscott and New Paradigm Research Think tank brands together in a site that complements both which operates in a symbiotic relationship.

Long Term is it to make this a knowledge portal where both clients and non clients come to for cutting edge thinking on IT and Business Strategy.

Solutions
Inorbital worked with the New Paradigm team to arrange and organize a more fluid and logical navigation while implementing a seamless and scalable site with our CMS Plus system integrated. Since NP had been working producing new branding materials we were able to retain the same graphics and logo that were used to create a cohesive look and feel tied in with all the marketing, on and off line. This gave the site a dramatic improvement and level of professionalism you would expect from this firm.

Inorbital also implemented a site Content Management Solution with an application database and tiered administrator and content owner access. By implementing the CMS from the outset we were able design with restrictions imposed by the CMS while exceeding other of the client’s objectives with services and functionality. The content is now much easier to modify and sections and menu items are easily added with the browser based – Word-like - editor. There was also a need to implement a 2 step approval process for content changes required by the specifications and management of the very sensitive member materials. Also introduced was a sophisticated survey tool and forums for both members and non members. And recently the capability to deliver streaming media was integrated into the new site seamlessly. This content delivery is arranged almost exclusively using style sheets for each: structure and style allowing for any major style change to take place site wide from within the CMS.

Results
The project was delivered in 2 phases, the most important being the members only area.

This is a project that all team members worked diligently and cooperated with each other to satisfy all parties involved from design to stakeholder.

In the end the site represents a contemporary modern design with a common layout and consistent organization representative of New Paradigm’s new branding and logo.
