About Shoppers Drug Mart / Pharmaprix
Shoppers Drug Mart, Canada's only national drugstore chain, has grown to more than 850 locations across the country in its 40 plus years
of operations.
Problem
The client needed to provide a bi-lingual event registration application for their managers and associates from across Canada, providing
information about the event location and agenda. Registrants would also be able to sign up for optional tours to explore the
city's many cultural attractions, including a day-trip to Alcatraz and shopping in downtown San Francisco.
Solutions
Inorbital designed and built a scalable website for the annual event. An integrated Content Management System (CMS) permits the client to
make efficient and timely updates via a web-based interface, while the use of CSS templates creates the possibility for re-use of the site's
back-end for subsequent events, effectively maximizing Shoppers' ROI.
Results
With unprecedented early response, several tours quickly sold out as registrations were completed from coast-to-coast well ahead of the posted
deadline. The perceived ease-of-use and excitement generated by the branded front-end evoked aNd Logistix to proclaim that this was, "...the
best site we have done yet!".
